Oromo people

The Oromo people are an ethnic group inhabiting Ethiopia, who are also found in northern Kenya and Somalia. They are the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia and the wider Horn of Africa

It is the most widely spoken tongue in the family's Cushitic branch. Forms of Oromo are spoken as a first language by more than 44.6 million Oromo people and neighbouring peoples in Ethiopia and by an additional half million in parts of northern and eastern Kenya
